FOUNDATIONAL LEARNING • INITIATIVE 02
Unlocking potential for children in remote rural and tribal communities across Chhattisgarh through learning centres, retention programs, and foundational literacy.
THE NEED
Children in remote tribal and rural areas of Chhattisgarh often encounter severe obstacles: first-generation schooling challenges, linguistic barriers between native dialects and standard curriculum, and economic pressures that pull youth into early seasonal labor.
Dreamnest Foundation works to ensure every child, regardless of remoteness, receives foundational literacy, compassionate mentorship, and the encouragement needed to realize their dreams.
OUR STRATEGY
Setting up supplementary village learning hubs to help first-generation learners grasp reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Developing contextual pedagogical aids that bridge indigenous tribal dialects with school textbooks to build confidence.
Providing focused counseling, safe transport facilitation, and hygiene awareness to ensure adolescent girls remain in school.
Engaging parents and village committees in school monitoring, teacher encouragement, and learning advocacy.
TARGET OUTCOMES
Substantial improvement in grade-level reading, writing, and basic math comprehension among participating students.
Drastic reduction in primary-to-middle school dropouts, especially among first-generation girl students.
Active parental commitment to regular school attendance, homework support, and local school monitoring.
Educational need assessments and community learning centre site mappings are underway in designated districts of Chhattisgarh. Verified learner data and learning outcomes will be reported post-assessment.
Your support supplies learning kits, library books, and teacher mentoring for children in remote tribal habitations.
